A short term rental (STR) is an residential investment property that is rented on a nightly basis versus 6 months or more at a time. They are also referred to as vacation rentals. A STR could be a single family home, condo, townhouse, log cabin etc. The possibilities are endless! There is an incredible amount of income to be made from a STR when its done right!
This is such an important question and one of the first that needs to be addressed. Laws regarding STR vary by city and county and even by different home owners associations. Thankfully we are familiar with area regulations and the processes by which this information is gathered. Obtaining that information for you and helping you understand it, is part of what we do.

No. The service of meeting at your home and discussing the basics of prepping to sell (decluttering etc.) are a standard and free service that any good Realtor will provide. When we extend beyond the basics, additional costs may be involved.
